<B>1950's Jackie Robinson "Single Signed" Baseball.</B></I> Perhaps it was the great humility of this most significant figure in baseball history that always steered him from the sweet spot when applying his autograph to a baseball, but any serious autograph collector will be surprised to see this rare break from tradition. The fact of the matter is that Robinson likely did not choose this positioning as much as he was forced to sign in this one available space on the ball when it was once covered with other autographs. A professional restorationist has eliminated all autographs from the ball but Jackie's, creating an apparent "single" unlike any you're likely to see again. Robinson's signature rates 8/10, and the ball shows a small degree of scuffing and no apparent manufacturer's stamping. <I>LOA from PSA/DNA.
