Signatures include Western fixtures ''Roy Rogers'', who humorously adds the name of his horse ''Trigger'', ''Dale Evans'', ''Gabby Hayes'', ''Monte Hale'' and ''Ward Bond''. Also signed by comics ''Harpo Marx'' and his brother ''Chico Marx'', ''Bob Mitchum'', ''Tony Martin'', ''Pat O'Brien'', ''Dinah Shore Montgomery'' following her marriage to George Montgomery, ''Hugh Herbert'', ''Henry King'', ''Karen Hale'', ''Bridget Carr'', ''Ann Blyth'' and ''Joan Davis''. All signatures are in green ink, reportedly procured from the Shamrock Hotel in Houston, Texas. Most include a brief autograph inscription or dedication in the stars' hand. Dark leather book with gilt lettering measures 6.25'' x 4.75''. Cocked, with wear to the spine and cracked rear interior hinge, else near fine.
