<B>1950 U.S. Capital Sesquicentennial, HK-507, MS65 NGC.</B></I> Silver, gray oxidized finish, 41.3 mm. Listed as "rare" by Hibler-Kappen (1963). Rare is an understatement, as a mere eight examples have been certified by NGC, with this piece tied for the finest known as of (8/07). The current example is completely unperturbed, devoid of any noticeable flaws and seemingly worthy of a higher grade. The centers are light-gray and gracefully transition to darker tones at the peripheries. Fierce competition for this piece is expected.
