1950 Tom Ferrick Game Worn Jersey. Tremendously
1950 Tom Ferrick Game Worn Jersey. Tremendously rare flannel derives from the personal collection of top baseball executive Harry Dalton, who joined the American League club the first season of its relocation to Baltimore. This home white flannel was issued to pitcher Tom Ferrick, whose surname is stitched into the tail with "50-1" set identifier. "Browns" is sewn to the chest in distinctive brown and orange felt, with number "47" applied to verso. While Ferrick is listed as having worn number "24" for the 1950 Browns, clearly this jersey was at the very least intended for his use, and no number change is evident. A considerable amount of staining should be evident in our catalog imagery, the result of a flood that released dyes from the felt identifiers into the white flannel. Nonetheless, the jersey still presents well, and its misgivings must be somewhat excused in light of its scarcity. Functional zipper front, and "Rawlings size 48" tagging in collar, with "Dry Clean Only" instructions. LOA from Lou Lampson.

Shipping: Clothing, Costumes & Jerseys (view shipping information)
