1950-D<5C> MS67 Full Steps PCGS. This date has the lowest mintage of any Jefferson nickel with just under three million coins struck, but it was saved in large quantities as collectors and others realized the low mintage almost immediately. As a result, Mint State examples are plentiful. On the other hand, few sharply struck examples have survived in grades as high as MS67. This Superb Gem example is a remarkable piece with frosty luster and sharp design details. The obverse has vivid gold and iridescent toning, and the reverse has brilliant nickel-gray color with a hint of gold.
