<B>1949 Yogi Berra Signed Player's Contract.</B></I> An integral piece of the foundation upon which would be built a run of five consecutive World Championship seasons is presented here, the paperwork that secured the services of Hall of Fame catcher Lawrence "Yogi" Berra for the 1949 season. In what was to be Yogi's second of fifteen All-Star seasons, he was paid $14,000 annually, a figure to which he agrees with a 10/10 complete "Lawrence Peter Berra" blue fountain pen signature. Joining his are the consenting autographs of Yankee vice president George Weiss (8/10) and American League president William Harridge (10/10).
