<B>1949 Bowman Satchell Paige #224 PSA NM-MT 8.</B></I> He once said, "Don't look back--someone might be gaining on you," but you won't find too many examples gaining on this ultra-high-grade rookie card featuring the forty-two year old Negro League phenom. In fact, only seven submissions of more than 360 to pass through the PSA grading service have topped our offering. Problems typical of this popular set--print defects, wax staining, poor centering--are not apparent here, and the corners remain wonderfully sharp. Definitely a rare opportunity for the discerning cardboard collector.
