<B>1949 50C Booker T. Washington MS67 NGC.</B></I> A bold striking with bright, chromatic luster and the slightest tinge of golden patina at the margins. Although the 1949 Booker T. Washington issues are more consistently nice than earlier years, few survive at this lofty grade level. Included with the lot is a number of mailing envelopes and pamphlets associated with the Booker T. Washington Birthplace Memorial and its commemorative coins. There are four postmarked envelopes, two are First Day of Issue, a black cardboard PDS holder, and a blank lottery entry form.
