Washington Redskins vs. Boston Yanks football program for the 31 October 1948 game at Griffith Stadium in Washington, D.C. Book, measuring 7.75'' x 11'', runs 28pp. Program predates by five years the Yanks move to Baltimore, where they would become the Colts. Humorous cartoon cover illustrating Redskins rivalry with the visiting team, depicts Indian boy siphoning beans from an oblivious old Bostonian's cauldron of Boston baked beans. Loaded with articles and photos on both teams and filled with advertising showcasing such companies as Ford and Emerson. Scratches on cover not affecting image, crease at bottom corner, mild overall toning to interior. Very good condition.
