<B>1948 New York Yankees Team Signed Photograph.</B></I> Valued at close to $1,000 in its unsigned state, this impressive oversized (12x20") team shot finds the Yanks on the brink of Major League Baseball's longest World Championship streak (1949-53). Note the black armbands on each player's left sleeve, worn to recognize the passing of the great Babe Ruth. Fourteen flawless blue sharpie signatures from this elite ballclub date from many years after the photo's issue date, but feature most of the biggest names, including DiMaggio, Rizzuto, Berra, Henrich, Crosetti, Reynolds, Lopat, Houk, Brown and more. The photo shows some creasing and minor tears in the wide white border, but the image area itself is free of any significant concerns, and the image could easily be matted and framed to approximate a NRMT appearance. <I>LOA from PSA/DNA.
