<B>1948 Babe Ruth's Funeral Oversized Culver Service Photograph, Type 1.</B></I> Stamping on verso attributes this somber scene to Irving Haberman of the <I>N.Y. Star.</B></I> As the Babe's casket makes its way down the steps of St. Patrick's Cathedral, rows of dark suited mourners pay their final respects. Wrinkling and border wear is not particularly evident upon viewing and does not encroach upon the central focus. Glue staining is confined to verso. 11x14". Confirmed as "Type 1" by PSA/DNA. CGC grade: Good.
