<B>August 18, 1947 Babe Ruth Handwritten and Signed Postcard.</B></I> Quick note back home to a buddy is penned entirely in the hand of the great Bambino, who writes, "Hello Kids, Weather is very warm and trip is to (sic) long will return Sept. 5, From Babe." A few words are slightly smeared, apparently by moisture, but the overall effect is very bold. Back of postcard offers a comical view of a row of outhouses with the slogan, "Come see us sometime...we have lots of sitting room!" Postcard is postmarked "Aug 18, 1947," and shows only light mailing wear. <I>LOA from PSA/DNA.</B></I>
