1947 50C MS67 PCGS. Ex: GBW. Spectacular, indeed memorable quality for this final Philadelphia Mint Walker. Many of the Superb examples of 1947 and 1947-D half dollars began as mint set coins from the government issued double mint sets sold by the Treasury Department from 1947 through 1958, with a one-year hiatus in 1950. Such is likely the case with this beautifully toned representative. The obverse exhibits concentric shades of golden-orange and sky-blue toning while a crescent of rich coppery-gold color accents the lower portion of the reverse. Population: 19 in 67, 0 finer (11/06).
From The Temecula Collection.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
