<B>Ronald Reagan Postcard Signed</B></I> "<I>Ronald</B></I>". One page, Burbank, California, July 22, 1946, with inscribed address panel on verso and Warner Bros.Studios stamped return address, to Barbara Shippert, Dixon, Illinois. The future president writes: "<I>It was nice getting your letter, and mighty glad to learn you are going to my old 'Alma Mater' this fall. I'm sure you'll get to love Eureka just as (I) did, & still do. Did you get your Club Picture, Barbara, I can't remember the names of those to whom I've already mailed them. A journal should be out about now I don't know why it's being held so long. Remember me to all the Dixon friends. Sincerely,</B></I>". Reagan, already a movie star by the time he sent this card, exuded such an upbeat California personality that his humble Illinois origins were often forgotten. Here he writes to a young friend back home. Partial cancellation carries over to the message panel, however all words are distinct and legible. Light aging, else fine condition.
