This is an Ogden Union Stockyards Railroad lock. The lock is dated 1946. Ogden became a junction for the Union Pacific and Central Pacific Railroads in the mid 1800's thanks to land given up by the Mormons. This lock is marked "OUSY CP" which indicates it was once used by the Central Pacific Railroad. The lock comes with a working key. The lock is in good condition. It measures 2.5" x 4".
