Associated Press teletype from 1 October 1946 reporting the fate of 12 German war criminals. From Nuremberg, document reads in part, ''…Hermann Goering has been sentenced to death by hanging.'' Many others including Nazi philosopher Alfred Rosenberg were sentenced to death and others, such as Karl Doenitz were given a prison term. The teletype is cut into seven pieces all, with the exception of one, measuring approximately 8.75'' x 3.5'' The largest piece is 8.75 '' x 8.25''. Heavily toned, else very good condition.
