<B>1946 Mel Ott Signed Government Postcard.</B></I> The day after clubbing his 511th and final home run on Opening Day this year, the Hall of Fame Giants slugger injured his knee, essentially ending his storied career. This black ink 10/10 signature from the third man in the 500 Home Run Club appears on a GPC mailed from Ott's New York City hometown on the last day of August.
