<B>1946 50C Iowa MS68 PCGS.</B></I> The 1946 Iowa half, the first non-circulating commemorative issued by the United States since the moratorium of 1939, was one of the more successful classic commemoratives. The vast majority sold, and the potential for speculative abuses approached nil. The olive-tan and silver-gray patina over the incredibly well-preserved piece offered here forms a partial tab pattern on the reverse. Strongly lustrous with excellent visual appeal.
