<B>1946 50C Booker T. Washington MS67 PCGS.</B></I> Though this issue had an original mintage of over 700,000 pieces, an unknown quantity returned to the melting pot. This outstanding survivor displays colorful, captivating patina. The obverse displays bands of navy, aqua, gold, and peach, while the reverse has similar, softer colors. The portrait exhibits a number of tiny abrasions on Washington's cheek, which remained unstruck, and a small cluster of marks appears below HALF DOLLAR. These flaws pale in comparison to the toning, however, and the overall eye appeal is strong.
