<B>1944<50C> MS67 NGC.</B></I> This delightful short-set Superb Gem has sharply struck devices, including a fully separated and rounded thumb on the branch hand. The luster is strong and rather frosty, especially on the obverse, and pale reddish-gold toning is noted near the rims. A few faint marks are visible on the sun, but only with close inspection. A laudable coin, tied for the finest graded by both NGC and PCGS (8/06).
