<B>1942 St. Louis Cardinals Team Signed Baseball.</B></I> A World Championship season, and the first full year in the Bigs for a twenty-one year old kid named Stan Musial, who appears among the thirteen autographs on this ONL (Frick) ball. Among the more notable names to join the young Man: Slaughter, Walker, Cooper, Wares, Southworth, Marion and Hopp. A small bit of what appears to be ancient bubble gum is found on Hopp's side panel, but this does not affect any autographs. Ball is moderately and evenly toned. Cooper and Marion have been deemed secretarial. <I>LOA from PSA/DNA.
