<B>1942 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball.</B></I> Despite coming up short in the World Series this season, the 1942 Bombers' total of 103 victories represented the best record of the decade in the Bronx. Matching the quality of this powerhouse club is that of the sphere that documents it, with twenty-five of its twenty-six black fountain pen signatures rating 9/10 or better (John Lindell is 7/10). All the top stars are here: DiMaggio, Ruffing, Dickey, Rizzuto, Gomez, Henrich, Selkirk and Crosetti among them. Only McCarthy appears in clubhouse format.
