Terms & Conditions
1. General
By participating in this auction, all bidders agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. This auction, Inaugural Auction – Fall 2025, is conducted by St. George Auctions Incorporated (“the Auctioneer”) and is open to the public. All sales are final and legally binding.
2. Currency & Taxes
All prices in the issued auction catalogue, as well as all prices, bids, and invoices pertaining to this auction, are in Canadian dollars (CAD). Canadian sales tax (GST/HST) is applicable for all Canadian orders and will be added to all Canadian invoices. Canadian sales tax will not be applied to lots that are Tax Exempt. While Canadian sales tax is not applicable for orders shipped to the United States or any other international addresses outside of Canada, buyers are responsible for any import charges (including, but not limited to, customs, duties, tariffs, taxes, and/or brokerage fees) in their jurisdiction.
3. Buyer’s Premium
A 10% Buyer’s Premium will be added to the hammer price of each lot. If invoice payment is made by debit card, credit card, or PayPal, the Buyer’s Premium increases to 13% to cover processing fees.
4. Estimates & Descriptions
While a great deal of effort has gone into making sure that the auction catalogue and auction are both as error-free as possible, the Auctioneer cannot be held responsible for typographical errors including incorrectly priced items. All starting bids and estimates are provided as guides only and do not guarantee actual selling prices. Third-party grading (e.g., ICCS, PCGS, CCCS, NGC) is referenced where applicable. Concerns relating to grading, certification, and authenticity are to be directed to the relevant third-party certification company, not the Auctioneer.
5. Bidding
Bids may be placed online (through iCollector.com), by email, or in person (where applicable). Should you require assistance with bidding and wish to bid by phone, please contact us prior to the auction. The Auctioneer reserves the right to: reject any bid not made in good faith (e.g., accidental bids, shill bids); resolve any disputes or tie bids at their sole discretion; and withdraw any lot at any time before the sale. Should two or more identical bids be received for any given lot, the earliest bid will take higher priority.
6. Payment Terms
All invoices must be paid within 14 calendar days of the auction close. Payment can be made by e-transfer, cheque, money order, bank draft, debit card, credit card, PayPal, or by wire transfer (wire transfers are subject to a surcharge of $15.00). Late payments may incur interest charges of 2% per month, and title to items remains with the Auctioneer until payment is received in full. At our discretion, we may require that an order be paid by bank draft or wire transfer to protect against fraud (for example, if you are a first-time buyer placing an order over $2,000). Personal cheques must be cleared by our bank before an order can be shipped. Both cheques and money orders can be sent to our mailing address:

7. Shipping
All orders will be sent with tracked shipping. A flat shipping fee of $20.00 + GST/HST applies to all orders within Canada. A flat shipping fee of $35.00 applies to all orders shipped to the United States; please contact us for shipping quotes to international addresses outside of the United States. Additional shipping & handling charges may apply for bulky/oversized orders. Items will only be shipped after full payment is received. Item pickup within New Brunswick can be arranged if the Auctioneer is given prior notice.
8. Returns & Refunds
No returns will be accepted unless an item has been materially misdescribed or incorrectly catalogued. Since all items are sold “as is”, and since grading is subjective, bidders are encouraged to ask questions or request additional images before bidding. In the event of a valid return, the buyer must notify the Auctioneer within 7 calendar days of item receipt.
9. Legal
The auction is governed by the laws of the Province of New Brunswick. Participation in the auction constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
