<B>1941 World Series Press Pin (Brooklyn Dodgers).</B></I> Odds are good that this pin was on the lapel of a sportswriter at Ebbets Field who watched with shock as Mickey Owen dropped that famous third strike that would have evened the Series at two games a piece. This error allowed Yankees star Tommy Henrich to begin a rally that would eventually spell doom for the Bums in their first of many Subway Series with the Yanks. A small amount of toning and pinpricks of oxidation are only visible upon the closest of inspection. Otherwise, the pin presents beautifully.
