<B>1941 Ty Cobb Signed Check.</B></I> Mint specimen should appeal to collectors who want nothing but the finest, as this personal check drawn against the Peach's "First National Bank of Nevada" account is slabbed in a PSA Mint 9 capsule. Cobb pays just over two hundred dollars to a "J.E. Slingerland," noting at the bottom margin, "Settlement in full to date." All black fountain pen ink is rendered in Cobb's hand, as is the authorizing "Tyrus R. Cobb" signature. The bank's stamping and punch coding remains clear of the autograph, with a single vertical fold line left of center the only condition issue of record.
