<B>1941-S<50C> MS66 NGC.</B></I> In addition to complete sets, Walking Liberty half dollars are also collected in a subset consisting of only those issues struck from 1941 to 1947, sometimes called a "short set." This short set was actually created by Whitman Publishing Company years ago. A complete set of Walking Liberty half dollars required two physical albums, and the folks at Whitman chose the year 1941 to start the second album. Many collectors only bought this second album, and the short set was created. This 1941-S half dollar is the key to the short set and this example is fully brilliant with frosty silver luster.
