Introduced during World War I, the "Mercury" actually displays not a Roman god, but a female personification of Liberty, whose winged cap was intended to represent Freedom of Thought. Our set contains all 27 dates of issue (we'll choose amint in each case); none was struck in 1922, 1932 and 1933). You'll even receive the very elusive 1921 Philadelphia issue, the key date in the series. Gradings range from Good to Fine quality. Folder included.
