This is a 1¢ vending machine with a heavy aluminum body. It is 13-½ inches tall x 6-¾ inches wide x 9-¾ inches deep, and is complete with the original lock and key (an allen wrench).

A very simple slide mechanism lets you insert a penny in the slot, push the handle in and then pull it out to get product. This probably would have vended nuts or small candies. We've been told these were originally made in Portland, Oregon in the 1940s.
