This strutting fellow is just glorious. We bought this at an estate sale where the daughter who was in her 60?s told us that her mother purchased this in the 1940?s in Italy on her honeymoon. Everyone in the family thought it was ugly but I think he is simply beautiful. He stands 13? high and 15? long and has two extremely tiny chips in the glaze. One on his tail and one on his leg. They are extremely hard to see but they are there and we like our customers to know the exact condition of any piece they buy. The colors are bright and vivid with just the slightest wear to a few of the gold gilding. Marked on the bottom with Made Italy, there is also an impressed mark that I can?t make out. Don?t wait to add this fellow to your collection today.
