<B>1940's Babe Ruth Signed Blank Card.</B></I> The conventional wisdom that an application of clear tape would help preserve an autograph might not have been so wise in retrospect, but six decades later it does present the opportunity for one budget-conscious collector to acquire what is still a handsome and appealing signature from baseball's greatest name. The 8/10 black fountain pen autograph is applied to a 2.5x3.5" card, which was then affixed to a lined scrapbook page.
