<B>1940-S 50C MS67 NGC.</B></I> Of this issue, Bruce Fox suggested that it is possibly the worst struck in the entire series. However, the present example is virtually a full strike. Even the thumb is almost completely outlined. For a 1940-S half dollar, such a strike is almost unheard of. This Superb example is fully brilliant with satiny luster and excellent eye appeal. For the advanced specialist, this may prove to be the most exciting coin in the present Walking Liberty half dollar offering.
