<B>1940 Play Ball Mel Ott #88 PSA EX-MT 6, Signed.</B></I> A tremendously desirable card in its unsigned state, the addition of a bold black ink fountain pen signature elevates the value quite considerably. Ott's status as the third member of the 500 Home Run Club, and his early death in 1958 in an automobile accident, makes his one of the hottest autographs in the hobby of those active in baseball after the second World War. Minor corner wear and imperfect centering account for the EX-MT 6 grade on a very clean and attractive card.
