<B>1940 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball.</B></I> Though the Yanks found themselves in the rare role of spectators for the 1940 World Series, there's no denying the outrageous talent that filled the Bronx dugout this year. Most are present on this OAL (Harridge) ball offering twenty-seven black ink autographs, notably DiMaggio, Dickey, Gomez, Combs, McCarthy, Ruffing, Henrich, Dahlgren and Crosetti. Autograph quality ranges from 5/10 to 9/10, with most firmly at the center of that range. The ball itself is clean and without noteworthy flaws. <I>LOA from PSA/DNA.
