<B>1940 50C PR68 NGC.</B></I> This is a lovely Superb Gem proof, crisply struck and carefully preserved. As far as NGC is concerned, this is an unsurpassed 1940 Walking Liberty half. Only 45 examples have been so graded at that certification service, with none finer (6/07). Fully original golden-tan patina is seen in the borders, while the centers are more lightly toned.
