<B>1939 World Series Signed Baseball with Ruth, DiMaggio.</B></I> A mixture of Yankees and Reds autographs and vintage "1939" notations leave little doubt but that this ball was signed in October of the centennial season. Most noteworthy among the signers, and rendered in the boldest ink, is recent retiree Babe Ruth, who commands a side panel in 10/10 black fountain pen. Current ruler of the Yankee spotlight Joe DiMaggio is here as well, signing in green ink and then again over the top of that autograph in black. Other noteworthy names present among the seventeen on this apparent Official ball (stamping faded beyond visibility) are Mize, Berra, Dickey, Walters, Pepper Martin, Lonny Frey and more.
