<B>1939-S<25C> MS67 PCGS.</B></I> A challenging early mintmarked date in MS67, not perhaps so well recognized as semi-keys like the 1935-S, 1936-D, and 1938-S, but nonetheless quite elusive in Superb Gem condition. Both obverse and reverse appear essentially mark-free on this astonishing piece, which offers brilliant surfaces with an obverse rim tinged by russet, jade, and magenta. Among the finest at either service. Population: 17 in 67, 0 finer (9/06).
