<B>1939-D 50C MS68 NGC.</B></I> Only three submissions of 1939-D half dollars have been certified as MS68, two by NGC and one by PCGS. Two of these coins are in this auction. This piece is fully struck and fully lustrous although a single unfortunate bagmark severs the thumb. This example has wispy champagne and pale gold toning on each side.
