<B>1939-D 50C MS67 PCGS.</B></I> More than 4 million half dollars were struck at the Denver Mint in 1939, and are readily available through MS65. Premium Gems are more challenging, and examples grading higher are rare. Bright luster adorns the MS67 coin in this lot, and slivers of iridescent red, yellow-gold, and green cling to the margins. This piece is sharply struck, including partial definition on the thumb and adjacent branches, and is devoid of mentionable abrasions.
