<B>1939 50C PR65 PCGS.</B></I> Proof coins of the 1936-1942 era could be ordered individually, so that each denomination's proof mintage was independent of the others'. While only 8,808 Walking Liberty half dollars were produced, the proof emission of Lincoln cents exceeded 13,000 coins. This piece offers ice-white, brilliant surfaces that show a few faint field hairlines and tiny contact marks on Liberty's left (facing) hand.
