<B>1938-S<50C> Texas MS68 NGC.</B></I> The Texas type ended its five-year run in 1938. As in the prior four years, PDS sets were issued, but reduced collector interest led to the lowest set mintages for the type. This lustrous and precisely struck Superb Gem has lovely light gold and ice-blue toning. Nearly imperceptible thin marks on the eagle's knees deny perfection. Census: 9 in 68, 0 finer (9/06).
