<B>1938-D 5C MS68 NGC.</B></I> For the type collector who demands only the finest, this exquisite 1938-D Buffalo nickel is the perfect choice to represent the series. Both sides offer vibrant luster and strong detail, and the surfaces are flawless to the unaided eye. The obverse has a thin layer of ice-blue patina that surrounds a small spot of peach in the center, while the reverse displays a more even blend of aqua, gold, and lavender toning.
