<B>1938-D 50C Oregon MS68 PCGS.</B></I> This coin has outstanding eye appeal, courtesy of the crimson-orange and sea-green toning that overlays much of the obverse periphery. The reverse border also features slender bands of pumpkin-gold and fire-red. Medium intensity champagne-gray patina blankets the central obverse with more of a slate-gray appearance on the reverse. It is the awe-inspiring combination of surface preservation and eye appeal that undoubtedly secured the MS68 grade from PCGS.
