<B>1938-D 50C MS67 PCGS.</B></I> With a mintage that every aficionado of the series has memorized--491,600 coins--the 1938-D is the key to the 1934-1947 "short set" of Walking Liberty half dollars, even though some of the other issues in that span are more difficult to find in nice shape. The silver-white surfaces on this coin show a tinge of pinkish-gold patina. This lovely piece shows a split thumb and about 80%-90% detail on Liberty's head, with good eye appeal.
