<B>1938-D 50C MS65 PCGS.</B></I> The Denver Mint turned out less than a half-million coins in this low-mintage year, although savvy collectors apparently saved considerable numbers at the time of issue. The 1938-D has turned out to be nonetheless an enduringly popular key date, one that shows generally good production values.
