1937 dated S-42 coded Luger by Mauser, 9mm caliber, standard as issued, blue finish, checkered wood grips, serial number “2017”. The Luger remains in original very good plus to near fine condition with 90-95% original blue thinning at the grip straps, high points, and muzzle. There is some just beginning normal age, generally sharp metal surfaces, with bright straw finish on trigger safety and takedown. Also bright nitre blue finish on small parts, action good, bore very good, all matching visible serial numbers, except magazine which is correct type. The holster is dated 1934 and made by Otto Seidel, Berlin. The belt loops are old replacements, the holster is in fair to good condition, with some normal scuffing, aging, and minor imperfections. One matching original magazine and 1 extra X marked extra original spare mag. Est.: $1,500-$2,500.
