1937 Eddie Collins Signed Uniform Agreement. He was, along with catcher Ray Schalk, the only White Sox infielder that didn't take a dive for the money in 1919, and his lifetime stats of 3,315 hits and an outrageous .333 average proved him to be far more than just an honest ballplayer, but an all-time great as well. Here Collins signs an agreement as the Red Sox V.P. to purchase the contract of a minor league player, interestingly the very same year he found another kid named Ted Williams. The player listed on this contract, however, didn't pan out to be quite as big a star, appearing in just a single game for the BoSox and never earning an official at-bat. Collins' very tough autograph is huge and perfect here, and its placement on an official baseball document only adds to its considerable value. Contract itself has original storage folds, and is otherwise NRMT. LOA from PSA/DNA.
