<B>1937-D 5C Three-Legged MS64 PCGS.</B></I> While seen fairly frequently in most circulated grades and the lower Mint State grades, the Three-Legged Buffalo is seldom encountered in near-Gem condition. MS64 is probably the ideal grade for a special collection of Buffalo nickels, as the price trebles one grade point up, even as the certified population diminishes by a factor of 3. Lovely sunset-gold patina appears in the recesses on each side, with the luster better than the typical diffused sort, and relevant marks are conspicuously absent.
