1937-D<5C> Three-Legged MS63 PCGS. Chestnut and ice-blue toning is invigorated by shimmering luster. This nearly unmarked example has pleasing eye appeal, since both central and peripheral elements are sharply struck. The 1937-D Three Legged Nickel is probably the most famous die polishing error, although the 1922 No D cent is close behind. Encapsulated in a green label holder.
From The Tide Collection.
