<B>1937-D 5C Three-Legged MS61 NGC.</B></I> Discovered in 1939 by "Cowboy" Franzen, the Three-Legged 1937-D nickel has assumed a semi-key status in the Buffalo nickel series that is similar to the 1909-S VDB and the 1955 Doubled Die cents. This is a well defined example (not always the case) and the surfaces are mostly brilliant with a hint of light yellow. The satiny mint luster is not disturbed by any abrasions that cannot be seen with a magnifier.<BR><BR><B>Coin Engraver:</B> James E.
