<B>1937-D 50C MS66 PCGS.</B></I> Deep amber-gold and ice-blue hues grace the obverse, while the reverse is essentially brilliant. This underrated issue was produced to a smaller extent than generally acknowledged--about 1.7 million pieces--a harbinger of the following year's D-mint production of less than a half-million coins.
